II.
THE
TULIP.
She
sleeps
under
a
tree
Only
I
remember
her.
I
touch
her
quiet
bed;
She
knows
my
foot,
Puts
on
her
red
dress,
—
And
we
see!
In
spring,
there
is
a
light
It
is
not
here
all
year
It
comes
when
March
is
near
A
color
is
on
the
hills
Science
cannot
see
it
But
people
can
feel
it
It
waits
on
the
grass
It
shows
the
far
tree
On
the
far
slope
we
see
It
almost
talks
to
me
Then,
as
time
goes
on
And
noon
goes
away
Without
a
sound
It
leaves,
and
we
stay
We
feel
a
little
sad
It
changes
how
we
feel
Like
a
trade
takes
away
Something
very
special
