Poemas de Emily Dickinson, Tres Series, Completo
Colección 3, Poema 20
XX.
The
last
night
she
lived,
It
was
a
normal
night,
Except
the
dying;
this
made
Nature
feel
different.
We
saw
small
things,
Things
missed
before,
By
this
big
light
on
us
Made
clear,
as
't
were.
That
others
could
live
While
she
must
go,
A
feeling
for
her
came
So
nearly
big.
We
waited
while
she
passed;
It
was
a
short
time,
Too
busy
were
our
thoughts
to
talk,
At
last
the
news
came.
She
spoke,
and
forgot;
Then
like
a
reed
Bent
to
water,
shook,
Agreed,
and
was
gone.
And
we,
we
fixed
the
hair,
And
lifted
the
head;
And
then
a
big
quiet
was,
Our
faith
to
hold.
