Poemas de Emily Dickinson, Tres Series, Completo
Colección 4, Poema 48
XLVIII.
To
my
books
I
turn
At
the
end
of
long
days;
It
makes
the
wait
sweet,
And
pain
goes
away.
Like
flavors
cheer
guests
For
food
to
come,
Books
make
time
fun
In
my
small
library.
Outside
is
a
wild
place,
Far
from
tired
men,
But
inside
is
a
holiday,
With
bells
and
light.
I
thank
my
books;
Their
friendly
faces
Make
me
happy,
And
give
me
peace.
