VI.
HOPE.
Hope
is
a
bird
with
feathers
It
sits
in
the
heart,
And
sings
a
song
with
no
words,
And
never
stops
at
all,
And
sweetest
in
the
storm;
And
strong
must
be
the
storm
To
stop
the
little
bird
That
keeps
so
many
warm.
I
hear
it
in
cold
lands,
And
on
strange
seas;
Yet,
never,
in
hard
times,
It
asks
for
food
from
me.
