Poemas de Emily Dickinson, Tres Series, Completo
Colección 6, Poema 16
XVI.
SECRETS.
The
skies
can't
keep
secret!
They
tell
the
hills
—
The
hills
tell
the
trees
—
And
they
the
flowers!
A
bird,
by
chance,
that
goes
that
way
Hears
the
whole.
If
I
ask
the
little
bird,
Who
knows
but
she
would
tell?
I
think
I
won't,
It's
better
not
to
know;
If
summer
were
sure,
What
magic
had
snow?
So
keep
your
secret,
Father!
I
would
not,
if
I
could,
Know
what
the
blue
ones
do,
In
your
new
world!
