XXVII.
If
I
should
die,
And
you
should
live,
And
time
should
go
on,
And
morn
should
shine,
And
noon
should
burn,
As
it
has
done;
If
birds
should
build
as
early,
And
bees
as
busy
go,
—
One
might
leave
at
will
From
work
below!
It
is
sweet
to
know
that
stocks
will
stand
When
we
with
daisies
lie,
That
trade
will
go
on,
And
work
as
fast
fly.
It
makes
the
leaving
calm
And
keeps
the
soul
quiet,
That
men
so
lively
Run
the
happy
scene!
