LONGING.
I
envy
seas
where
he
rides,
I
envy
wheels
Of
chariots
that
carry
him,
I
envy
quiet
hills
That
watch
his
journey;
How
easy
all
can
see
What
is
never
for
me
Like
heaven,
to
me!
I
envy
sparrow
nests
That
dot
his
far
eaves,
The
rich
fly
on
his
glass,
The
happy,
happy
leaves
That
just
outside
his
window
Have
summer's
leave
to
be,
The
earrings
of
Pizarro
Could
not
get
for
me.
I
envy
light
that
wakes
him,
And
bells
that
ring
To
tell
him
it
is
noon,
—
I
could
bring
his
noon,
Yet
stop
my
bloom
And
stop
my
bee,
Lest
noon
in
night
Drop
Gabriel
and
me.
