III.
NATURE.
I.
NATURE'S
CHANGES.
Spring's
pale
land
will
soon
be
bright,
Like
flowers
in
a
vase,
Though
snow
is
deep
in
the
village
Today
we
see
its
face.
Lilacs
bend
with
purple
blooms,
Bees
hum
their
old
song;
They
remember
the
tune
well,
And
sing
it
all
day
long.
The
rose
will
bloom
in
the
bog,
Asters
on
the
hill;
Summer's
colors
will
appear,
And
gentians
will
thrill,
Till
summer
folds
her
magic
Like
women
fold
their
clothes,
Or
priests
end
the
symbols
When
their
service
goes.
