Poemas de Emily Dickinson, Tres Series, Completo
Colección 2, Poema 9
IX.
Do
you
have
a
brook
in
your
heart,
Where
shy
flowers
grow,
And
birds
come
to
drink,
And
shadows
move
so?
And
nobody
knows,
it
flows
so
quiet,
That
any
brook
is
there;
And
yet
your
little
drink
of
life
Is
taken
there
each
day.
Then
look
out
for
the
little
brook
in
March,
When
rivers
overflow,
And
snows
rush
from
the
hills,
And
bridges
often
go.
And
later,
maybe
in
August,
When
fields
are
dry,
Watch
out,
lest
this
little
brook
of
life
Some
hot
noon
runs
dry!
