Poemas de Emily Dickinson, Tres Series, Completo
Colección 8, Poema 27
XXVII.
If
I
should
die,
And
you
should
live,
And
time
should
go
on,
And
morning
should
shine,
And
noon
should
burn,
As
it
always
has;
If
birds
should
build
as
early,
And
bees
as
busy
go,
—
One
might
leave
by
choice
From
work
below!
It's
sweet
to
know
that
things
will
stay
When
we
with
daisies
lie,
That
trade
will
continue,
And
work
as
fast
goes.
It
makes
the
leaving
calm
And
keeps
the
soul
at
peace,
That
people
so
lively
Conduct
the
lovely
scene!
