IV.
SATISFIED.
I
had
one
blessing,
So
large
to
my
eyes,
I
stopped
measuring,
happy,
With
its
magical
size.
It
was
the
end
of
my
dream,
The
center
of
my
prayer,
A
perfect,
stunning
joy,
Content
like
despair.
I
knew
no
more
of
want
or
cold,
Both
became
illusions,
For
this
new
value
in
my
soul,
The
highest
earthly
sum.
The
heaven
below
the
heaven
above
Covered
with
a
redder
hue.
Life's
fullness
was
too
much;
The
judgment
vanished
too.
Why
joys
are
given
so
little,
Why
Paradise
waits,
Why
floods
come
in
bowls,
I
wonder
no
more.
