Poemas de Emily Dickinson, Tres Series, Completo
Colección 11, Poema 20
XX.
Could
I
only
ride
forever,
Like
the
meadow-bee,
And
visit
only
where
I
liked,
And
no
one
visit
me,
And
play
all
day
with
buttercups,
And
marry
whom
I
may,
And
live
a
little
everywhere,
Or
better,
run
away
With
no
police
to
follow,
Or
chase
me
if
I
do,
Till
I
would
jump
peninsulas
To
get
away
from
you,
—
I
said,
but
just
to
be
a
bee
On
a
raft
of
air,
And
drift
nowhere
all
day
long,
And
stop
off
the
bar,—
What
freedom!
So
captives
think
Who
are
tight
in
dungeons.
