XXXI.
I
meant
to
find
her
when
I
came;
Death
had
the
same
plan;
But
he
succeeded,
it
seems,
And
I
did
not.
I
meant
to
tell
her
how
I
longed
For
just
this
one
time;
But
Death
had
told
her
first,
And
she
listened
to
him.
To
wander
now
is
my
home;
To
rest,
—
to
rest
would
be
A
gift
of
storm
To
memory
and
me.
