Poemas de Emily Dickinson, Tres Series, Completo
Colección 2, Poema 9
IX.
Have
you
got
a
brook
in
your
heart,
Where
shy
flowers
grow,
And
blushing
birds
come
to
drink,
And
shadows
tremble
so?
And
nobody
knows,
it
flows
so
still,
That
any
brook
is
there;
And
yet
your
little
sip
of
life
Is
taken
there
each
day.
Then
watch
for
the
little
brook
in
March,
When
rivers
overflow,
And
the
snows
rush
from
the
hills,
And
bridges
often
go.
And
later,
in
August
maybe,
When
the
meadows
dry,
Beware,
lest
this
little
brook
of
life
Some
hot
noon
runs
dry!
