Poemas de Emily Dickinson, Tres Series, Completo
Colección 3, Poema 22
XXII.
A
DAY.
I'll
tell
you
how
the
sun
rose,
—
A
ribbon
at
a
time.
The
steeples
turned
to
purple,
News
spread
like
squirrels
climb.
The
hills
took
off
their
hats,
The
birds
began
to
sing.
Then
I
whispered
to
myself,
That
must
be
the
sun's
ring!
But
how
he
set,
I
do
not
know.
There
seemed
a
purple
gate
Which
little
children
climbed
As
the
evening
grew
late
Until
they
reached
the
other
side,
A
teacher
dressed
in
gray
Put
up
the
evening
bars,
And
led
them
all
away.
