XXV.
DYING.
The
sun
kept
setting,
setting
still;
No
afternoon
light
In
the
village
I
saw,
—
From
house
to
house
it
was
noon.
The
dusk
kept
falling,
falling
still;
No
dew
on
the
grass,
But
only
on
my
forehead
stayed,
And
wandered
on
my
face.
My
feet
kept
dozing,
dozing
still,
My
fingers
were
awake;
Yet
why
so
little
sound
myself
Seemed
to
make?
How
well
I
knew
the
light
before!
I
could
not
see
it
now.
It's
dying,
I
am
doing;
but
I'm
not
afraid
to
know.
