XXX.
THE
WIND'S
VISIT.
The
wind
tapped
like
a
tired
man,
And
I
said,
"Come
in,"
It
entered
my
home
then,
A
guest
without
feet.
I
couldn't
offer
it
a
chair,
Just
like
you
can't
give
A
sofa
to
the
air.
It
had
no
bones
to
hold
it,
Its
voice
was
like
the
buzz
Of
many
hummingbirds
From
a
special
bush.
Its
face
was
like
a
wave,
Its
fingers,
if
it
passed,
Left
music,
like
tunes
Played
on
glass.
It
visited,
always
moving;
Then,
like
a
shy
man,
It
tapped
again
quickly
—
And
I
was
alone.
