FOLLOWING.
I
had
no
reason
to
be
awake,
My
best
was
asleep,
And
morning
was
polite,
And
didn't
wake
them
up,
But
called
the
others
clear,
And
passed
their
curtains
by.
Sweet
morning,
when
I
over-sleep,
Knock,
remember,
for
me!
I
looked
at
sunrise
once,
And
then
I
looked
at
them,
And
wished
for
the
same
Situation.
It
was
such
a
full
peace,
It
could
not
hold
a
sigh,
—
It
was
Sabbath
with
the
bells
quiet,
It
was
sunset
all
day.
So
choosing
just
a
gown
And
taking
just
a
prayer,
The
only
clothes
I
would
need,
I
struggled,
and
was
there.
