Poemas de Emily Dickinson, Tres Series, Completo
Colección 9, Poema 17
XV.
THE
INEVITABLE.
While
I
was
fearing
it,
it
came,
But
came
with
less
fear,
Because
fearing
it
for
so
long
Had
almost
made
it
dear.
There
is
a
fitting
dismay,
A
fitting
despair.
It's
harder
knowing
it's
coming,
Than
knowing
it's
here.
Trying
it
on
at
first,
In
the
morning
when
it's
new,
Is
worse
than
wearing
it
A
whole
life
through.
