LIV.
THANKSGIVING
DAY.
One
day
in
the
series
Is
called
Thanksgiving
day,
Celebrated
partly
at
the
table,
Partly
in
memory.
Neither
old
nor
young,
I
think
on
the
play;
Seems
to
me
a
hidden
Holiday
today.
Had
there
been
no
loss
From
the
early
count,
Not
an
acre
or
a
note
Where
once
was
a
room,
Not
a
word,
whose
small
stone
Rippled
any
bay,
—
To
such,
if
such
a
gathering,
It
would
be
Thanksgiving
day.
