Poemas de Emily Dickinson, Tres Series, Completo
Colección 4, Poema 10
X.
I
died
for
beauty,
but
was
barely
Placed
in
the
tomb,
When
one
who
died
for
truth
was
laid
In
a
nearby
room.
He
softly
asked
why
I
failed?
"For
beauty,"
I
replied.
"And
I
for
truth,
—
they
are
the
same;
We
are
brothers,"
he
said.
And
so,
as
kin
met
for
a
night,
We
talked
between
the
rooms,
Until
the
moss
reached
our
lips,
And
covered
up
our
names.
