Poemas de Emily Dickinson, Tres Series, Completo
Colección 5, Poema 29
XXIX.
MY
COUNTRY'S
WARDROBE.
My
country
need
not
change
her
dress,
Her
triple
suit
as
sweet
As
when
it
was
cut
at
Lexington,
And
first
declared
"a
fit."
Great
Britain
disapproves
"the
stars;"
Disparagement
discreet,—
There's
something
in
their
stance
That
taunts
her
bayonet.
