Colección 7, Poema 28
XXVIII.
I
know
a
place
where
summer
fights
Against
a
practiced
frost,
Each
year
she
brings
her
daisies
back,
Briefly
noting,
"Lost."
But
when
the
south
wind
stirs
the
pools
And
struggles
through
the
lanes,
Her
heart
doubts
her
own
promise,
And
she
sings
soft
refrains
Into
the
lap
of
stone,
With
spices
and
the
dew,
That
quietly
hardens
to
quartz,
On
her
amber
shoe.
