XLII.
PROBLEMS.
Bring
me
the
sunset
in
a
cup,
Count
the
morning's
flagons
up,
And
say
how
many
dew;
Tell
me
how
far
the
morning
leaps,
Tell
me
what
time
the
weaver
sleeps
Who
wove
the
skies
so
blue!
Write
me
how
many
notes
there
are
In
the
robin's
joyful
song
Among
the
amazed
boughs;
How
many
trips
the
tortoise
makes,
How
many
cups
the
bee
drinks,
—
The
reveler
of
dews!
Also,
who
laid
the
rainbow's
piers,
Also,
who
leads
the
gentle
spheres
With
strands
of
flexible
blue?
Whose
fingers
string
the
stalactite,
Who
counts
the
night's
treasures,
To
ensure
none
are
due?
Who
built
this
little
white
house
And
shut
the
windows
so
tight
My
spirit
cannot
see?
Who'll
let
me
out
on
a
special
day,
With
tools
to
fly
away,
Escaping
grandeur?
