XLI.
REMEMBRANCE.
Remembrance
has
a
back
and
front,
—
It's
something
like
a
house;
It
has
an
attic
also
For
refuse
and
the
mouse,
Besides,
the
deepest
cellar
That
ever
mason
carved;
Look
to
it,
by
its
depths
Ourselves
be
not
pursued.
To
bow
our
head
in
pretense,
And
later
to
discover
That
this
was
not
the
stance
Of
our
eternal
mind,
Suggests
a
subtle
notion
That,
in
such
a
thick
fog,
You,
too,
adopt
cobweb
habits
On
a
fragile
plane!
