Poemas de Emily Dickinson, Tres Series, Completo
Colección 11, Poema 19
XIX.
A
SNAKE.
Sweet
is
the
swamp
with
its
secrets,
Until
we
encounter
a
snake;
Then
we
long
for
houses,
And
make
our
swift
departure
At
that
thrilling
gallop
That
only
childhood
knows.
A
snake
is
summer's
betrayal,
And
deceit
is
where
it
goes.
