Poemas de Emily Dickinson, Tres Series, Completo
Colección 4, Poema 38
XXXVIII.
Sleep
is
believed
to
be,
By
those
of
sound
mind,
The
closing
of
the
eyes.
Sleep
is
the
grand
station
Where
on
either
side
The
witnesses
stand!
Morning
is
assumed
to
be,
By
those
of
stature,
The
dawn
of
the
day.
The
morning
has
not
yet
arrived!
That
will
be
the
dawn
East
of
eternity;
One
with
the
vibrant
banner,
One
in
the
red
attire,
—
That
is
the
break
of
day.
