VI.
FROM
THE
CHRYSALIS.
My
cocoon
tightens,
hues
tantalize,
I'm
reaching
for
the
air;
A
vague
capacity
for
wings
Degrades
the
attire
I
wear.
A
butterfly's
power
must
be
The
aptitude
to
soar,
Meadows
of
majesty
concede
And
easy
sweeps
of
sky.
So
I
must
puzzle
at
the
hint
And
decipher
the
sign,
And
make
many
errors,
if
at
last
I
grasp
the
divine
clue.
