Poemas de Emily Dickinson, Tres Series, Completo
Colección 7, Poema 40
XL.
She
sweeps
with
many-colored
brooms,
Leaving
shreds
behind;
Oh,
housewife
in
the
evening
west,
Return,
and
dust
the
pond!
You
dropped
a
purple
thread
in,
You
dropped
an
amber
thread;
And
now
you've
littered
all
the
East
With
remnants
of
emerald!
And
still
she
wields
her
spotted
brooms,
And
still
the
aprons
fly,
Till
brooms
fade
softly
into
stars—
And
then
I
walk
away.
