Poemas de Emily Dickinson, Tres Series, Completo
Colección 8, Poema 15
XV.
Their
height
in
heaven
comforts
not,
Their
glory
means
nothing
to
me;
It
was
best
imperfect,
as
it
was;
I’m
finite,
I
cannot
see.
The
house
of
supposition,
The
shimmering
frontier
That
skirts
the
acres
of
perhaps,
To
me
seems
insecure.
The
wealth
I
had
contented
me;
If
it
was
a
lesser
size,
Then
I
had
counted
it
until
It
pleased
my
narrow
eyes
Better
than
larger
riches,
However
true
their
show;
This
timid
life
of
evidence
Keeps
pleading,
"I
don't
know."
