XLIII.
THE
BRAIN.
The
brain
surpasses
the
sky's
expanse,
For,
placed
side
by
side,
One
will
encompass
the
other
With
ease,
and
include
you.
The
brain
is
deeper
than
the
sea,
For,
when
matched
hue
to
hue,
One
will
absorb
the
other,
As
sponges,
buckets
do.
The
brain
equates
the
weight
of
God,
For,
when
lifted
pound
for
pound,
They
differ,
if
at
all,
As
syllable
from
sound.
