Poemas de Emily Dickinson, Tres Series, Completo
Colección 9, Poema 48
XLVII.
What
gentle,
cherubic
beings
These
women
seem
to
be!
One
would
as
soon
harm
velvet
Or
disturb
a
star's
gleam.
Such
delicate
convictions,
A
horror
so
refined
Of
freckled
human
nature,
Of
Divinity
ashamed,
—
It's
such
a
common
glory,
A
fisherman's
accolade!
Redemption,
fragile
lady,
Be
not
ashamed
of
thee.
