Las aventuras de Sherlock Holmes
The Adventure of the Beryl Coronet
Capítulo 11, Página 14
"We
need
to
find
out,"
replied
Holmes.
"So
now,
Mr.
Holder,
let
us
go
to
Streatham
and
look
at
the
details."
My
friend
wanted
me
to
go
with
them.
I
wanted
to
go
too
because
the
story
was
interesting
and
sad.
I
thought
the
banker’s
son
was
guilty,
like
his
father
did.
But
I
trusted
Holmes.
He
did
not
talk
much
as
we
traveled
to
the
suburb.
Our
client
seemed
a
bit
hopeful
and
talked
to
me
about
his
work.
We
took
a
short
train
ride
and
then
walked
to
Fairbank,
the
banker’s
house.
Fairbank
was
a
big
white
house.
It
had
a
path
to
big
iron
gates.
On
the
right
was
a
small
path
to
the
kitchen
door.
On
the
left
was
a
lane
to
the
stables.
Holmes
walked
around
the
house.
Mr.
Holder
and
I
waited
inside
by
the
fire.
A
young
lady
came
in.
She
was
tall,
with
dark
hair
and
eyes.
She
looked
very
pale
and
sad.
She
went
to
her
uncle
and
touched
his
head
softly.
"Did
you
tell
them
to
let
Arthur
go,
dad?"
she
asked.
"No,
my
girl,
we
must
find
the
truth."
"But
I
am
sure
he
is
innocent.
I
know
he
did
nothing
wrong.
You
will
be
sorry
for
being
so
harsh."
"Why
is
he
silent
if
he
is
innocent?"
"Maybe
he
is
angry
because
you
suspect
him."
