strange

are
not
clear.
Some
have
no
ending.
But
one
case
is
very
special.
It
is
strange
and
surprising.

want
to
tell
you
about
it,
even
if
some
parts
are
still

mystery.
In

cases.

adventure

There
is

with

story

Anderson.
There

adventures

Grice
Patersons
on
Uffa
island.
And
there
is
the
Camberwell
poisoning
case.
Sherlock
Holmes
solved
the
Camberwell
case
by
checking
a
watch.
The
dead
man's
watch
showed
the
time
he
went
to
bed.
This
was
very
important.
I
may
tell
these
stories
later.
But
now,
I
will
tell
you
about
a
very
strange
case.
It
was
late
September.
The
wind
was
strong,
and
the
rain
was
heavy.
The
storm
was
loud.
It
was
wild
outside.
Sherlock
Holmes
sat
by
the
fire,
looking
at
his
crime
records.
I
read
a
sea
story.
The
storm
outside
sounded
like
the
sea.
My
wife
was
visiting
her
mother.
So,
I
stayed
at
Baker
Street
for
a
few
days.
I
said
to
Holmes,

bell.

yours?"
Holmes

like
visitors."
I
asked,
"Is

client?"
Holmes
said,
"If
it
is,
the

is
serious.
Only
a
serious
case
brings
someone
out
in
this
weather.
But
maybe
it
is
the
landlady's
friend."
Holmes
was
wrong.
We
heard
steps
in
the
hall
and
a
knock
at
the
door.
Holmes
turned
the
lamp
to
the
empty
chair
for
the
visitor.
