Las aventuras de Sherlock Holmes
The Man with the Twisted Lip
Capítulo 6, Página 25
"You
are
funny,"
laughed
the
inspector.
"Please
open
the
door
quietly,"
said
Holmes.
"We
will
make
him
look
better."
"Why
not?"
said
the
inspector.
"He
doesn't
look
good
here."
He
opened
the
door.
We
went
inside.
The
man
moved
a
little
but
stayed
asleep.
Holmes
took
some
water
and
wet
the
sponge.
He
rubbed
it
on
the
man's
face.
"This
is
Mr.
Neville
St.
Clair
from
Kent,"
shouted
Holmes.
I
was
very
surprised.
The
dirt
came
off
like
tree
bark.
The
brown
color
was
gone!
The
scar
was
gone
too!
The
red
hair
came
off.
A
pale
man
sat
up.
He
looked
sad.
He
had
black
hair.
He
rubbed
his
eyes
and
looked
around.
Then
he
screamed
and
hid
his
face
in
the
pillow.
"Great
heavens!"
said
the
inspector.
"This
is
the
missing
man.
I
know
him
from
the
photo."
The
prisoner
turned
and
said,
"What
am
I
charged
with?"
"With
making
away
with
Mr.
Neville
St.—
Oh,
you
can't
be
charged
with
that,"
said
the
inspector.
"I
have
been
in
the
force
for
twenty-seven
years,
but
this
is
new."
