Las aventuras de Sherlock Holmes
The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle
Capítulo 7, Página 1
I
visited
my
friend
Sherlock
Holmes
two
days
after
Christmas.
I
wanted
to
say
hello.
He
was
on
the
sofa
in
a
purple
robe.
He
had
a
pipe
and
many
newspapers.
Next
to
him
was
a
chair.
On
the
chair
was
an
old,
broken
hat.
A
lens
and
tweezers
were
on
the
chair
too.
"You
are
busy,"
I
said.
"Am
I
bothering
you?"
"Not
at
all,"
said
Holmes.
"I
am
happy
to
talk
about
my
work.
This
hat
is
not
very
important,"
he
said,
pointing
at
it.
"But
it
is
interesting."
I
sat
in
his
chair
and
warmed
my
hands
by
the
fire.
It
was
very
cold
outside.
"Does
this
hat
have
a
story?"
I
asked.
"Is
it
a
clue
for
a
mystery?"
"No,
no.
No
crime,"
said
Holmes,
laughing.
"It
is
just
a
funny
story.
Many
people
live
in
this
city.
Strange
things
happen.
Not
all
are
crimes.
We
have
seen
this
before."
"Yes,"
I
said.
"In
my
notes,
three
of
the
last
six
cases
had
no
crime."
"Exactly.
Like
the
Irene
Adler
papers,
Miss
Mary
Sutherland,
and
the
man
with
the
twisted
lip.
This
is
the
same.
Do
you
know
Peterson,
the
commissionaire?"
"Yes."
