Las aventuras de Sherlock Holmes
The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle
Capítulo 7, Página 22
The
stranger's
face
turned
red.
"Well,"
he
said,
"my
real
name
is
James
Ryder."
"Yes,
head
attendant
at
the
Hotel
Cosmopolitan.
Come
into
the
cab,
and
I
will
tell
you
everything
you
want
to
know."
The
man
looked
at
us
with
scared
and
hopeful
eyes.
He
was
not
sure
if
he
was
lucky
or
in
trouble.
He
got
into
the
cab.
In
half
an
hour,
we
were
back
at
Baker
Street.
We
did
not
talk
in
the
cab.
The
man
breathed
fast
and
held
his
hands
tight.
He
was
very
nervous.
"Here
we
are!"
said
Holmes
happily
as
we
went
into
the
room.
"The
fire
feels
nice
in
this
weather.
You
look
cold,
Mr.
Ryder.
Sit
in
the
chair.
I
will
put
on
my
slippers,
then
we
can
talk
about
your
problem.
Do
you
want
to
know
about
the
geese?"
"Yes,
sir."
"Or
maybe
just
one
goose.
Was
it
the
white
one
with
a
black
tail?"
Ryder
shook
with
feeling.
"Oh,
sir,"
he
said,
"can
you
tell
me
where
it
went?"
"It
came
here."
