Las aventuras de Sherlock Holmes
A Scandal in Bohemia
Capítulo 1, Página 22
"You
can
count
on
me."
"That’s
great.
I
think
it’s
time
to
get
ready
for
my
new
role."
He
went
to
his
room
and
came
back
dressed
as
a
kind
and
simple
clergyman.
His
hat,
trousers,
tie,
and
friendly
smile
made
him
look
perfect.
Holmes
didn’t
just
change
his
clothes.
His
face,
voice,
and
everything
seemed
different
with
each
role.
The
stage
lost
a
great
actor
when
he
chose
crime-solving
instead.
We
left
Baker
Street
at
6:15,
and
it
was
almost
6:50
when
we
arrived
at
Serpentine
Avenue.
It
was
getting
dark,
and
the
street
lamps
were
just
coming
on
as
we
walked
in
front
of
Briony
Lodge,
waiting
for
someone
to
arrive.
The
house
looked
like
Sherlock
Holmes
had
described,
but
the
area
was
busier
than
I
thought.
For
a
small
street
in
a
quiet
neighborhood,
it
was
lively.
There
were
men
in
old
clothes
smoking
and
laughing,
a
man
sharpening
scissors,
two
soldiers
talking
to
a
nurse,
and
some
well-dressed
men
walking
with
cigars.
“You
see,”
said
Holmes
as
we
walked
in
front
of
the
house,
“this
marriage
makes
things
easier.
The
photograph
is
now
a
problem
for
her
too.
She
won’t
want
Mr.
Godfrey
Norton
to
see
it,
just
like
our
client
doesn’t
want
his
princess
to
see
it.
Now,
where
do
we
find
the
photograph?”
“Where,
indeed?”
“She
probably
doesn’t
carry
it
with
her.
It’s
too
big
to
hide
easily
in
her
dress.
She
knows
the
King
might
try
to
take
it
from
her.
There
have
been
two
tries
already.
So,
I
think
she
doesn’t
carry
it
with
her.”
“Where,
then?”
