Las aventuras de Sherlock Holmes
A Case of Identity
Capítulo 3, Página 8
"Yes,
sir,
but
quietly.
It
was
at
St.
Saviour's,
near
King's
Cross,
and
we
planned
breakfast
at
the
St.
Pancras
Hotel.
Hosmer
came
for
us
in
a
cab,
but
since
there
were
two
of
us,
he
put
us
in
it
and
took
another
cab.
We
got
to
the
church
first,
and
when
his
cab
arrived,
we
waited
for
him
to
get
out,
but
he
never
did.
The
cabman
checked
and
said
he
couldn't
imagine
what
happened
to
him,
as
he
saw
him
get
in.
That
was
last
Friday,
Mr.
Holmes,
and
I
haven't
seen
or
heard
anything
since
then
to
explain
what
happened
to
him."
"I
think
you
have
been
treated
badly,"
said
Holmes.
"Oh,
no,
sir!
He
was
too
kind
to
leave
me
like
that.
All
morning
he
said
I
should
be
true,
and
even
if
something
happened
to
separate
us,
I
should
remember
my
promise
to
him.
It
was
strange
talk
for
a
wedding
day,
but
now
it
makes
sense."
"It
certainly
does.
Do
you
think
something
unexpected
happened
to
him?"
"Yes,
sir.
I
believe
he
saw
danger
coming,
or
he
wouldn't
have
talked
like
that.
I
think
what
he
feared
actually
happened."
"But
you
have
no
idea
what
it
was?"
"None."
"One
more
question.
How
did
your
mother
react?"
