Las aventuras de Sherlock Holmes
The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle
Capítulo 7, Página 14
"I
got
them
from
a
salesman
in
Covent
Garden."
"I
know
some
of
them.
Which
one?"
"Breckinridge
is
his
name."
"Ah!
I
don't
know
him.
Well,
here's
to
your
good
health,
landlord,
and
good
luck
to
your
house.
Good
night."
"Now
for
Mr.
Breckinridge,"
he
said,
buttoning
his
coat
as
we
stepped
into
the
cold
air.
"Remember,
Watson,
we
have
a
goose
at
one
end
of
this
chain,
and
at
the
other,
a
man
who
might
go
to
jail
for
seven
years
unless
we
prove
he
is
innocent.
We
might
find
he
is
guilty,
but
we
have
a
clue
the
police
missed.
Let's
follow
it
to
the
end.
Let's
head
south
and
move
quickly!"
We
walked
across
Holborn,
down
Endell
Street,
and
through
a
maze
of
alleys
to
Covent
Garden
Market.
One
big
stall
had
the
name
Breckinridge
on
it.
The
owner,
a
man
who
looked
like
he
liked
horses,
with
sharp
features
and
neat
side-whiskers,
was
helping
a
boy
close
the
shutters.
"Good
evening.
It's
a
cold
night,"
said
Holmes.
The
salesman
nodded
and
gave
my
friend
a
curious
look.
