Las aventuras de Sherlock Holmes
A Scandal in Bohemia
Capítulo 1, Página 6
"Come
in!"
said
Holmes.
A
man
entered
who
was
at
least
six
feet
six
inches
tall,
with
the
build
of
a
Hercules.
His
clothes
were
rich,
but
in
England,
they
might
seem
a
bit
too
much.
Heavy
bands
of
astrakhan
were
on
the
sleeves
and
front
of
his
coat,
and
his
deep
blue
cloak
was
lined
with
bright
silk
and
held
with
a
brooch
of
a
single
bright
beryl.
His
boots
reached
halfway
up
his
calves
and
were
trimmed
with
rich
brown
fur.
He
held
a
wide-brimmed
hat
in
his
hand
and
wore
a
black
mask
over
his
face,
which
he
seemed
to
adjust
as
he
entered.
The
lower
part
of
his
face
showed
a
man
of
strong
character,
with
a
thick
lip
and
a
long
chin
that
suggested
determination.
"Did
you
get
my
note?"
he
asked
in
a
deep,
rough
voice
with
a
strong
German
accent.
"I
said
I
would
call."
He
looked
at
both
of
us,
unsure
who
to
speak
to.
"Please
sit
down,"
said
Holmes.
"This
is
my
friend
and
colleague,
Dr.
Watson,
who
sometimes
helps
me
with
my
cases.
May
I
know
who
I
am
speaking
to?"
"You
can
call
me
Count
Von
Kramm,
a
Bohemian
nobleman.
I
understand
your
friend
is
a
man
of
honor
and
discretion,
whom
I
can
trust
with
a
very
important
matter.
If
not,
I'd
prefer
to
speak
with
you
alone."
I
stood
to
leave,
but
Holmes
grabbed
my
wrist
and
pushed
me
back
into
my
chair.
"It's
both
of
us,
or
none,"
he
said.
"You
can
say
to
him
what
you
can
say
to
me."
The
Count
shrugged
his
wide
shoulders.
"Then
I
must
start,"
he
said,
"by
asking
you
both
to
keep
this
secret
for
two
years;
after
that,
it
won't
matter.
Right
now,
it's
so
important
it
could
affect
European
history."
"I
promise,"
said
Holmes.
