Las aventuras de Sherlock Holmes
The Five Orange Pips
Capítulo 5, Página 2
“Come
in!”
he
said.
The
man
who
entered
was
young,
about
twenty-two,
well-dressed,
and
looked
refined.
He
held
a
wet
umbrella
and
wore
a
long
waterproof
coat,
showing
he
had
braved
the
bad
weather.
He
looked
around
nervously
in
the
lamp's
light,
and
I
noticed
his
pale
face
and
tired
eyes,
like
someone
deeply
worried.
“I
owe
you
an
apology,”
he
said,
putting
on
his
gold
pince-nez.
“I
hope
I
am
not
disturbing
you.
I
fear
I
have
brought
in
some
of
the
storm
and
rain
into
your
cozy
room.”
“Give
me
your
coat
and
umbrella,”
said
Holmes.
“They
can
dry
here.
You
came
from
the
southwest,
I
see.”
“Yes,
from
Horsham.”
“The
clay
and
chalk
on
your
shoes
are
quite
distinctive.”
“I
have
come
for
advice.”
“That
is
easy
to
get.”
