Las aventuras de Sherlock Holmes
The Five Orange Pips
Capítulo 5, Página 14
"No,
your
secret
is
in
London.
That's
where
I'll
search."
"Then
I'll
visit
you
in
a
day
or
two
with
news
about
the
box
and
the
papers.
I'll
follow
your
advice
exactly."
He
shook
hands
with
us
and
left.
Outside,
the
wind
howled
and
the
rain
splashed
against
the
windows.
This
strange,
wild
story
seemed
to
have
come
to
us
from
the
chaotic
weather—like
a
piece
of
seaweed
blown
in
by
a
storm—and
now
it
seemed
to
have
been
absorbed
back
into
it.
Sherlock
Holmes
sat
quietly
for
a
while,
his
head
bowed
and
eyes
focused
on
the
glowing
fire.
Then
he
lit
his
pipe
and
leaned
back
in
his
chair,
watching
the
blue
smoke
rings
rise
to
the
ceiling.
"I
believe,
Watson,"
he
finally
said,
"that
none
of
our
cases
have
been
as
peculiar
as
this
one."
"Except,
perhaps,
the
Sign
of
Four."
"Well,
yes.
Except
for
that.
Yet,
this
John
Openshaw
seems
to
face
even
greater
dangers
than
the
Sholtos
did."
"Have
you,"
I
inquired,
"come
up
with
any
clear
idea
of
what
these
dangers
might
be?"
"There
can
be
no
doubt
about
their
nature,"
he
replied.
