Las aventuras de Sherlock Holmes
The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle
Capítulo 7, Página 13
"Then
let's
turn
dinner
into
supper
and
follow
this
clue
while
it's
fresh."
"By
all
means."
It
was
a
cold
night,
so
we
put
on
our
coats
and
wrapped
scarves
around
our
necks.
Outside,
the
stars
shone
in
the
clear
sky,
and
people's
breath
looked
like
smoke
from
pistols.
Our
footsteps
echoed
loudly
as
we
walked
through
the
doctors'
area,
Wimpole
Street,
Harley
Street,
and
then
Wigmore
Street
into
Oxford
Street.
In
fifteen
minutes,
we
reached
Bloomsbury
at
the
Alpha
Inn,
a
small
pub
at
the
corner
of
a
street
leading
to
Holborn.
Holmes
pushed
open
the
door
of
the
private
bar
and
ordered
two
beers
from
the
red-faced,
white-aproned
landlord.
"Your
beer
must
be
excellent
if
it's
as
good
as
your
geese,"
he
said.
"My
geese!"
The
man
seemed
surprised.
"Yes.
I
was
just
speaking
to
Mr.
Henry
Baker,
who's
in
your
goose
club."
"Ah!
yes,
I
see.
But
those
aren't
our
geese."
"Really?
Whose
are
they?"
