Las aventuras de Tom Sawyer
Capítulo 1, Página 7
Soon,
Tom
forgot
his
troubles.
Not
because
they
were
small,
but
because
he
found
something
new.
He
learned
a
new
whistle
from
a
man.
It
sounded
like
a
bird.
He
wanted
to
practice
it.
It
was
fun.
He
walked
down
the
street,
happy
and
whistling.
He
felt
like
he
found
something
special.
The
summer
evenings
were
long.
It
was
not
dark
yet.
Tom
saw
a
boy.
The
boy
was
a
little
bigger
than
Tom.
In
the
small
village,
new
people
were
interesting.
This
boy
had
nice
clothes.
It
was
not
a
Sunday.
His
cap
was
nice.
His
blue
jacket
was
new.
His
pants
were
nice,
too.
He
wore
shoes,
and
it
was
only
Friday.
He
had
a
ribbon
around
his
neck.
He
looked
like
a
city
boy.
Tom
looked
at
him.
Tom
felt
his
own
clothes
were
not
nice.
The
boys
did
not
speak.
They
moved
in
a
circle.
They
watched
each
other.
Then
Tom
said:
"I
can
beat
you!"
"I
want
to
see
you
try."
"Well,
I
can
do
it."
"No,
you
can't."
"Yes,
I
can."
"No,
you
can't."
