Las aventuras de Tom Sawyer
Capítulo 18, Página 1
Tom
had
a
secret.
He
wanted
to
go
home
with
his
pirate
friends
and
see
their
own
funerals.
They
used
a
log
to
cross
to
the
Missouri
shore
on
Saturday
evening.
They
landed
far
from
the
village.
They
slept
in
the
woods
until
morning.
Then
they
walked
through
small
streets
and
slept
in
the
church.
On
Monday
morning,
Aunt
Polly
and
Mary
were
very
nice
to
Tom.
They
talked
a
lot.
Aunt
Polly
said:
"Tom,
it
was
a
funny
joke.
But
you
made
us
worry
all
week.
You
could
come
to
your
funeral,
so
you
could
tell
me
you
were
not
dead."
“Mary
said,
"Yes,
Tom,
you
could
do
that.
I
think
you
would
if
you
thought
about
it."
“Aunt
Polly
asked,
"Would
you,
Tom?
Would
you
tell
me
if
you
thought
about
it?"
“Tom
said,
"I—I
don’t
know.
It
would
spoil
everything."
“Aunt
Polly
said,
"Tom,
I
hoped
you
cared
about
me.
It
would
be
nice
if
you
thought
about
it."
“Mary
said,
"Auntie,
it’s
not
bad.
Tom
is
always
in
a
rush.
He
doesn’t
think."
