Las aventuras de Tom Sawyer
Capítulo 26, Página 5
Two
men
came
in.
Each
boy
thought:
"There
is
the
old
deaf
and
dumb
Spaniard.
I
don't
know
the
other
man."
“The
other
man
looked
rough
and
not
nice.
The
Spaniard
wore
a
serape
and
had
white
hair
and
whiskers.
He
had
green
glasses.
The
other
man
talked
quietly.
They
sat
on
the
ground.
The
man
talked
more
clearly:
"No,"
he
said,
"I
don't
like
it.
It
is
dangerous."
"Dangerous!"
said
the
Spaniard,
surprising
the
boys.
"Coward!"
The
boys
were
very
surprised.
It
was
Injun
Joe's
voice!
They
were
quiet
for
a
while.
Then
Joe
said:
"What
is
more
dangerous
than
that
job
up
there?
Nothing
happened."
"That
is
different.
It
was
far
away.
No
one
knows
we
tried."
"Well,
what
is
more
dangerous
than
coming
here
in
the
day?
People
will
see
us."
