Las aventuras de Tom Sawyer
Capítulo 30, Página 1
Early
Sunday
morning,
Huck
walked
up
the
hill.
He
knocked
on
the
old
Welshman’s
door.
The
people
inside
were
asleep.
They
woke
up
because
of
the
noise
last
night.
A
voice
called
from
a
window:
“Who’s
there!”
Huck
spoke
in
a
scared,
quiet
voice:
“Please
let
me
in!
It’s
only
Huck
Finn!”
“Huck
Finn!
You
can
come
in
anytime,
boy!
Welcome!”
Huck
felt
happy.
No
one
said
“welcome”
to
him
before.
The
door
opened
fast,
and
he
went
inside.
Huck
sat
down.
The
old
man
and
his
two
tall
sons
got
dressed
quickly.
“My
boy,
I
hope
you’re
hungry.
Breakfast
will
be
ready
when
the
sun
is
up.
We
will
have
a
hot
meal.
We
hoped
you
would
come
and
stay
last
night.”
“I
was
very
scared,”
said
Huck.
“I
ran
when
the
pistols
fired.
I
didn’t
stop
for
three
miles.
I
came
now
because
I
want
to
know
what
happened.
I
came
before
daylight
because
I
didn’t
want
to
see
those
bad
men,
even
if
they
are
dead.”
