Las aventuras de Tom Sawyer
Capítulo 33, Página 9
"He
said
under
the
cross.
This
is
closest.
Can't
be
under
the
rock;
it's
solid."
They
searched
again,
then
sat
down,
sad.
Huck
had
no
ideas.
Then
Tom
said:
"Huck,
look
here.
Footprints
and
candle-grease
on
one
side
of
the
rock.
Not
on
other
sides.
Why?
I
bet
the
money
is
under
the
rock.
I'll
dig
in
the
clay."
"That's
a
good
idea,
Tom!"
said
Huck,
excited.
Tom
took
out
his
knife
and
dug.
He
hit
wood
after
a
few
inches.
"Hey,
Huck!
You
hear
that?"
Huck
dug
too.
They
found
boards
and
removed
them.
It
hid
a
hole
under
the
rock.
Tom
went
in
with
a
candle
but
couldn't
see
the
end.
He
wanted
to
explore.
He
went
under;
the
path
went
down.
He
followed
it
right,
then
left,
Huck
behind
him.
Tom
turned
a
corner
and
shouted:
"Wow,
Huck,
look
here!"
