Las aventuras de Tom Sawyer
Capítulo 6, Página 15
Tom
put
the
tick
in
the
percussion-cap
box
that
was
the
pinchbug's
prison,
and
the
boys
went
their
separate
ways,
each
feeling
richer
than
before.
When
Tom
reached
the
little
schoolhouse,
he
walked
in
quickly,
like
someone
who
came
with
honest
speed.
He
hung
his
hat
on
a
peg
and
sat
down
with
business-like
speed.
The
master,
sitting
high
in
his
big
chair,
was
dozing,
lulled
by
the
quiet
hum
of
study.
The
interruption
woke
him.
"Thomas
Sawyer!"
Tom
knew
that
when
his
full
name
was
used,
it
meant
trouble.
"Sir!"
"Come
up
here.
Now,
sir,
why
are
you
late
again,
as
usual?"
Tom
was
about
to
lie,
when
he
saw
two
long
tails
of
yellow
hair
on
a
back
he
knew
by
the
electric
feeling
of
love;
and
by
that
form
was
the
only
empty
seat
on
the
girls'
side
of
the
schoolhouse.
He
quickly
said:
"I
stopped
to
talk
with
Huckleberry
Finn!"
